About Vecinos

Vecinos is a 501(c)3 nonprofit health care organization serving and advocating for farmworkers and uninsured, low-income adults in western North Carolina. We have a specific focus on the Latinx and farmworker community.

Behavioral Health Specialist
We are currently accepting applications for a Behavioral Health Specialist. The Bilingual Behavioral Health Specialist works under the supervision of the Behavioral Health Director and directly with the Integrated Care team to provide behavioral health services to Vecinos clients and may include providing brief consultations with patients and medical providers, intersecting with the entire integrated care team. Clinical Operations Director

We are currently accepting applications for the Clinical Operations Director.

The Clinical Operations Director serves as a vital member of the Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer. In this capacity, they collaborate closely with the Leadership Team and Medical Directors to provide oversight for integrated clinical and behavioral health services. The primary objective of this role is to make well-informed, strategic, and efficient decisions to advance the organization and clinic’s mission of delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Community Health Worker I

Part-Time Registered Nurse

We are currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Registered Nurse.

The Registered Nurse applies the nursing principles of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for Vecinos patients and acts as a liaison between patients, their families, doctors, and health care teams.

Part-Time Phlebotomist

We are currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Phlebotomist. This person will primarily work evenings on Vecinos’ mobile clinics, serving migrant farmworkers. No Spanish is required.

The Phlebotomist works in the laboratory, taking blood samples from patients and adequately labeling them with their information. They conduct a wide range of tests to identify underlying conditions to assist medical providers with diagnosis and patient care.
