How can I volunteer?

Visit vecinos.org/about-us/careers. All available volunteer positions are denoted with “Volunteer” in the title on the Careers website.

Due to the nature of Vecinos’ work, we offer limited group volunteer activities. If you have a group that would like to volunteer, please reach out to us at least 6 weeks in advance of the target date at info@vecinosinc.org.

What are the requirements?

Volunteers should have a genuine desire to support the Latinx community. A background in healthcare is beneficial but not mandatory. We value commitment and a willingness to learn.

Is training provided?

Yes, we provide training for all volunteers. This includes orientation sessions and ongoing support. Our goal is to equip you with the knowledge needed to make a positive impact.

Can I volunteer remotely?

How much time commitment?

We ask for a minimum commitment of a few hours per week. However, we are flexible and can accommodate your schedule. Because of our federal funding requirements and the background checks we have to complete during onboarding, we do require volunteers to commit to at least three months of service.
