Reflections on Our May 13th Staff Training at the Vecinos Community Hub. There’s something special about having the whole Vecinos team under one roof—and not just any roof, but the roof of our beautiful new home: the Vecinos Community Hub in Franklin! On May 13th, we kicked off a powerful, engaging, and fun training day focused on emergency preparedness, safety, and working together under pressure.

Every year, as winter gives way to early spring, the journey of migrant farmworkers begins—an annual adventure marked by determination, sacrifice, and hope. At the heart of this journey lies an unbreakable bond between the farmworkers and our Outreach team, a relationship built on trust, affection, and mutual respect.

We are thrilled to share that Vecinos was selected as one of only five organizations across 25 states to join the inaugural Health Equity Acceleration Cohort 2025, launched by the AbbVie Foundation in partnership with MATTER. This initiative brings together community-rooted organizations with bold ideas to tackle health disparities head-on.
