Behavioral Health Provider I

Language Requirement: Bilingual Fluency in English and Spanish

(Full Time, Permanent, Benefits Eligible)

The Behavioral Health Provider I  is an Associate-level provider who works under direct supervision of the Behavioral Health Director, providing behavioral health therapy to patients and collaborating to support all mental health and social services within the organization.

Behavioral Health Provider II

The Behavioral Health Provider II is fully licensed and works under direct supervision of the Behavioral Health Director, providing behavioral health therapy to patients and collaborating to support all behavioral health services within the organization.

Interpreter/Transporter

Language Requirement: Bilingual Fluency in English and Spanish

(Part Time, Permanent)

The Interpreter accurately interprets conversations between health care providers and Spanish-speaking patients, following recommended guidelines. Service sites are at the Vecinos outpatient clinics and partner clinics across the region and patients may require transportation from work or home sites to/from clinical sites.

Medical Assistant

Language Requirement: Bilingual Fluency in English and Spanish

(Full Time, Permanent)

The Medical Assistant (MA) provides essential clinical and administrative support in a free clinic setting, ensuring that patients receive timely and compassionate care. The MA assists healthcare providers by performing patient intake, preparing patients for exams, assisting with procedures, managing medical records, and performing routine office tasks. This role is integral to maintaining the smooth operation of the clinic and ensuring high-quality care for underserved and uninsured populations, particularly Latinx and agricultural worker communities. This position will be stationed at the Franklin and Cullowhee outpatient clinics and the mobile clinics.

Mobile Clinic Driver

No Language Requirement

(Part Time, Seasonal)

The Mobile Clinic Driver assists with preparing the mobile clinics for mobile clinic site visits at migrant farmworker camps across Western North Carolina (WNC). The Driver transports the mobile clinics and helps set up the mobile clinics at the migrant camps for clinical site visits, troubleshooting mechanical issues as needed. The Driver may transport fellow staff members in the mobile clinics, as well. The mobile clinic typically operates site visits twice weekly.

Registered Nurse

Language Requirement: Bilingual Fluency in English/Spanish

(Full Time, Permanent)

The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a key role in providing compassionate, patient-centered care to uninsured and underserved populations, particularly agricultural workers and Latinx communities. The RN is responsible for evaluating and implementing individualized health care plans, delivering effective medical care while managing costs, and serving as a liaison between patients, their families, medical providers, and the care team. The ideal candidate is adaptable, dedicated to a growing practice, and committed to serving vulnerable populations in both outpatient and mobile clinic settings.

Transporter

No Language Requirement

(Part Time, Permanent)

The Transporter drives patients to/from work or home site to/from clinical sites across the region. If linguistically able, the transporter may aid the patient in check-in/registration for specialty clinic sites.
