“I am very proud to have a family that has worked in the fields to support my family. They have taught me the value and pride of being a farmworker. Through the efforts of my family I have the honor to study at the college in the medical field, and to be a medical interpreter. Seeing my family work hard in the United States, I hope to follow in their footsteps with the opportunities that are presented to me in the medical field, and thank my family and community by giving them the best medical service. It is an honor to work with a team that focuses on farmworkers and the Hispanic community.”

Debora grew up in Western North Carolina and she’s is currently at Southwestern Community College in pursue of becoming a Certified Medical Assistant!
